These are new replacement bumper mounting brackets for the TR7 and TR8 convertibles. These brackets will eliminate the droop of the front bumper caused by rotten rubber on the original 30+ year old mounting brackets. The original part numbers were XKC3791 & XKC3792.
These new mounting brackets are machined from black marine grade UHMW polyethylene(the bracket is white in one of the photos for clarity) which will never corrode or rot. They also weigh less than a pound for the pair which reduces the weight of the bumper assembly by 2.2 pounds or 1 kilo. All hardware required for mounting is included along with instructions. It is easy to replace these mounting brackets but the bumper assembly is very heavy.
